Hello there!

First, I am Thanking You for visiting this site, Our site!

My name is Lorraine Stewart Vindiola. Reading my name might trick you to assume where I come from, so here is a little about me. I was raised by a Mexican mom and dad, in a tiny town in the northwest side of Mexico. I am the eldest of 4 children who grew up with so much love and opportunity. I came to the States to get my college degree and have stayed here ever since. Growing up in the Arizona-Sonora desert has always fascinated me, always enjoying the sunrises and their breeze, as well as the sunsets and the cooling sensation that it is felt. Why my name? Well, my dad was the one who chose my first name, and I love it (even though growing up in Mexico, people didn’t understand the reason for my name, but coming to the States made me feel as any other person with a “normal” name). Last name? Stewart, thanks to our ancestors on my dad’s side, and Vindiola, is my mom’s maiden name. In Mexico you get to use both of your parents’ last names. Here, I am always addressed as Lorraine Stewart, but for all social media username purposes, I guess there are many Lorraine Stewarts in the world, so the combination of my first name and mom’s maiden name turned out to be unique.

As of now, I reside on the East side of the United States, it is my first time to enjoy all the different weather a day can bring, lol. And if you live here, I bet you would agree!

This website is being created so you can explore different modalities in which we can bring awareness into ourselves and our surroundings. I’ve been practicing asana yoga since 2006, and yes, like many of us, on and off. When I do my asana practice I just tune inside, and allow for a greater connection to happen. Of course, after every class I feel like I am floating, in a totally different dimension, this feeling gets carried from the classroom to the outside world! The very best! 2017 was when I decided to embark onto teacher training, and I graduated with 200 YTT. At the time, I was living in Arizona and had an extraordinary job doing research. Yes, I spent 10 years working with cells, tissues, proteins, ( I majored in MCB (Molecular and Cellular Biology)) under different project and environments, always finding new fascinating ways of interactions within what was studied at the time and sometimes even new discoveries to be added to today’s research world. This knowledge and continuous learning of our human body, and its many interactions within, is what has driven me into understanding beyond what can be “seen”. Many techniques were involved in this kind of research and for many different purposes too. From understanding cell growth, cell polarity to the over-expressions or lacking of certain proteins that may lead to ‘dis-ease’. So, I decided to expand my knowledge on holistic modalities—all the other realms which I will say balances and complements my previous job. It was 2018 when I had decided to continue with my yoga journey and dive deeper into the 300 YTT. This time I went to India. Am I the same? I don’t think so, I love transformation, I believe every single day is a new opportunity for us to become better, and I truly don’t take this for granted. Meditation came as a big part of this yoga training, and now is just as important as having a meal. So, if you are ever interested, have questions, don’t hesitate to ask! It is a wonderful journey!

As of Sound Healing, I always remember my mom’s eldest sister using sound, having a room full of different kinds of drums, rattles—so many different noise-making objects. We would also see her practicing yoga, and she would share with us about all these beautiful experiences we all could embrace, if we wanted to. I was very young, and didn’t comprehend all of it, but, as different circumstances presented, I understood more what she was trying to share. I also remember seeing a singing bowl at home, one, but there it was, and I didn’t grasp much about its concept either. It was 2018 when I first remember experiencing a singing bowl therapy. This was in Sedona, AZ, and almost a year after this experience, I now understand the emotions that came up on that session. I am always amazed on how time works; for me, there have never been immediate answers—it has always been a long process in which I try to see all the positive, the growth and transformation that the process brings. And then, an answer—after many months, that Aha! moment hits, and I understand beyond what I had understood…so beautifully…bringing awareness and gratitude, and opening the heart even more. So, while being in India, I decided to earn my Sound Healing certification too. I had the opportunity to learn from an extraordinary person, a great master, how to sing the bowls, different ways in which they can be use—from a massage, to relaxing, to clearing energies. And yes, I brought back my own Himalayan Singing bowl set. While being on the 300 YTT, every Sunday we would gather together to experience a Sound Healing session. I always felt so great, so in-tune and would experience extraordinary journeys, which drew me into learning more about sound and the bowls. It got me connected to everything and nothing at the same time, so I want to share this with others.

For Reiki, I learned of its existence since I lived in Mexico—my mom even practiced it. Although I experienced some sessions as a child, it wasn’t until 2019 that I tried a session as an adult. I just loved it—feeling the energy and becoming aware of how my body feels, was amazing. I then had the opportunity to get attuned onto it. I’ve been practicing ever since, and just love the way the energy feels, the way we can hold space for others with so much light and love for them to experience awareness, balance, acceptance of oneself. I cherish the experience of the practice and being able to share with others.

Well, I guess I have spent quite some time letting you know a little about who I am and how I got to experience the modalities I am now sharing with you as a service to all. Thank you for taking the time to read, and please feel free to contact me with any questions, doubts or suggestions about what is offered.

With all my Love to You,

Lorraine
